Love Hurts

George is in love. Alice and Nora are both in heat, but his heart belongs to Alice. George is a hardcore carboholic. He worships me but wouldn’t hesitate to sell me for parts if offered a brioche.

The high point of George’s day is “bunny-time” when he receives the most valued treat of the day, a small white dinner roll. Today he accepted his tidbit with typical enthusiasm. Instead of scarfing it down, he made direct eye contact with Alice before gently placing his bun at her feet. Alice politely declined. Confused, George picked up his love offering and carried it to his bed… heartbroken.
